Apprenticeship as a health specialist - summer 2024
As an EFZ healthcare specialist, you will care for and look after sick or elderly people and take on other tasks in the areas of care, nutrition and administration.
- You help with personal hygiene so that patients feel fresh and clean.
- You accompany and support patients who do not yet feel safe on their feet so that they can still move around.
- You support disabled people where necessary so that they can organise their everyday lives.
- To ensure that patients receive the necessary medication or a fresh dressing, you adhere to the specified times for administration or dressing changes.
- To ensure that a blood test can be carried out, you take a blood sample from the patient, label it and pass it on to the laboratory.
- To ensure that medication, dressings and other care supplies are available at all times, you will regularly check the stocks and reorder what is needed in good time.
